Description

The Healthy Catchments Project is a collaborative project led by the Orari-Temuka-Opihi-Pareora (OTOP) Zone Committee to encourage community input on how to achieve better outcomes for water in the OTOP zone. To develop the most appropriate management strategies for a catchment, the people living there need to be involved and help find workable solutions.

The OTOP Healthy Catchments Project covers most of the OTOP zone, however it excludes a number of the hill fed tributaries which feed directly into the Rangitata River.
