Description
Location of biodiversity protection and restoration projects funded through Environment Canterbury's ecosystem health programme since July 2010. Red dots are projects funded through the Canterbury Biodiversity Strategy fund, blue dots through the Canterbury Water Management Strategy Immediate Steps fund, purple dots represent projects funded through the Wainono Lagoon Restoration project (co-funded by Ministry for the Environment Fresh Start for Freshwater fund) and orange dots are funded by the Honda Treefund. The majority of projects also have a significant third party contribution from landowners, community groups, and other stakeholders.
